Interactive Database can be searched by either hospital or surgeon.
Information is for total hip and knee replacements performed during FY 2002.
Selecting “Hospital Results”
will show information for the specified hospital.Hospital specific pages
will display the number of cases (total hip, knee, and total hip and knee
replacements); statistical ratings for complications (deep joint infection
or device problem, blood clot lung/leg, and wound infection); statistical
rating for readmissions; post-operative length of stay; average charge for
total hip replacement; and average charge for knee replacement.

“Surgeon Results”
will show information for the specified surgeon. Surgeon specific pages
will display the number of cases (total hip, knee, and total hip and knee
replacements); statistical ratings for complications (deep joint infection
or device problem and blood clot lung/leg), statistical rating for
readmissions; and post-operative length of stay.
Selecting “Hospital
Volume
by Surgeon” will show the number of cases (total hip, knee, and total hip
and knee replacements) for the specified hospital and for each of the
surgeons who performed total hip and knee replacements at the hospital
during the study period.
Selecting “Surgeon Volume by Hospital” will
show the
number of cases (total hip, knee, and total hip and knee replacements) for
the specified surgeon and the number of total hip and knee replacements
performed at each hospital in which he/she performed replacement surgery
during the study period. |
