The Total Hip and Knee Replacements report examines the results for hospitals and orthopaedic surgeons of the 9,769 total hip replacements and 19,941 knee replacements performed in Pennsylvania during fiscal year 2002. This report includes outcomes on deep joint infection or device problems, blood clots in the lung or leg, wound infections, 30-day readmissions, and post-operative length of stay.
