The Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council (PHC4) is an independent state agency that conducts health care research. A bachelor's degree with coursework in statistics or mathematics is required. A Master's degree is preferred. Considerable experience using SAS, Microsoft Office, and statistical analysis including mathematical techniques such as regression analysis, non-parametric methods, t and chi-square tests, and analysis of variance are also required. Knowledge of SQL, health care, payer claims data, and experience with technical reporting is a plus.
