About this Data Literacy Course
The following Data Literacy course has been designed for a self-paced learning experience. The course has three modules, each with two videos. The first video of each module contains the learning material, the second video poses questions about the learning material shown in the first video. In the third module you will use an educational tool designed to support learners in applying their newly acquired information known as the Details of Delivery, linked below, as a downloadable PDF. After completing the modules, you can test your understanding and practice applying the skills you’ve learned using the prepared practice scenarios, linked below. An answer key is available with correct answers and explanations for your use.
The content of this course is available free to the public, on this page for any person seeking to learn more about data literacy. Learners will NOT receive a certificate of completion nor any credit for completing the courses here at phc4.org.
Continuing Medical Education Credits
This Data Literacy course ensures the learner obtains fundamental data literacy skills and has been credentialed for Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits through the Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) and is accessible in PAMED’s online Learning Center. Membership in PAMED is not required to create a website account/Learning Center account. CME is available ONLY to physicians, residents, and medical students, click here to take this course for credit.
